On November 10, the Los Angeles Book Club will meet from 2-4 at the home of Sharon Ward and on Zoom to discuss “Go Went Gone” by Jenny Erpenbach. This book, which has been called one of the best novels about the refugee crisis, tells the story of Richard, a widowed professor who takes an interest African refugees staging a hunger strike in Berlin.
